Moonlight Overnight Ratings Results - Jan 11

Moonlight once again won it's time slot thanks to the benefit of a new episode.

"An all night of original programming led CBS to Friday victory, with a first-place finish in every half hour courtesy of Ghost Whisperer (Viewers: 9.89 million; A18-49: 2.8 rating/9 share), Moonlight (Viewers: 8.38 million; A18-49: 2.3/ 7) and Numb3rs (Viewers: 9.75 million; A18-49: 2.5/ 8). While these results are far from extraordinary, they are still dominant. And that lands all three dramas in the listing of Friday winners. "

Moonlight #4 in Genre Ratings

According to Michael Hinmen of ScifyPortal, "Moonlight" landed at #4 for the fall season based on a ratings comparison of genre shows;

""Moonlight" was probably the biggest surprise of the season, finishing in fourth place with a 5.1/9, incredibly just a little more than half a ratings point off its series premiere of 5.8/11. Only "Smallville" and "Supernatual" on The CW have been able to retain that much of its premiere audience. "Moonlight's" lowest rating in the first 10 weeks was just a little more than one ratings point off its premiere. While the show is still not pulling in the numbers that its companion shows are for CBS Friday night, it does seem like "Moonlight" will be around for a while."

Moonlight Overnight Ratings Results - Dec 14

According to Robert Seidman at TV By The Numbers, Moonlight was #1 in both overall viewers and the 18-49 demographic according to overnight results for Friday, December 14th, 2007.
